The official vote count isn’t credible

The problem is that the official vote count isn’t credible. In much of the 13th District, the voting pattern looks normal. But in Sarasota County, which used touch-screen voting machines made by Election Systems & Soft ware, almost 18,000 voters – nearly 15% of those who cast ballots using the machines – supposedly failed to vote for either candidate. That compares with undervote rates of 2.2-5.3% in neighbouring counties.

Portfolio careers and the KRA Cocktails

I would like to complement the serious issue picked up about ambiguous job descriptions and multi-tasking pressures in the fast growing small and medium businesses today. While on one hand, the executives grapple with these pressures, there’s also a new trend that’s on the rise of pursuing portfolio careers. Portfolio careers is where a single executive or a professional takes up jobs, diverse in nature (for eg., one individual doing jobs of teaching, journalism, counseling etc.,) according to their interests. The trend is quite significant in the west, and India will catch up soon.
